This area of my website will be dedicated to news and musings focused on career experiences and the many wonderful students I have had the privilege of teaching.
My first teaching position was at the National Cathedral School and St. Alban's School in Washington, DC. I later would be named an Assistant Professor of Voice at Michigan State University, where I received tenure and promotion to Associate Professor. I then joined the faculty of the University of North Texas College of Music as a Professor of Voice, and since 2017, added Division Chair to my responsibilities.
I have always told students that my hope for them is to achieve what they seek in life, whether that ultimately leads them to the operatic stage, or something completely different. This forum, published once/monthly, will be an opportunity to celebrate all of my current studio members and studio alums.
